Luken Holdings buying Tivoli offices

Lynda Childress, controller of Luken Holdings Inc., has been promoted to chief financial officer.

The firm is one of the largest owners and operators of commercial real estate in Chattanooga.

Ms. Childress began her career with Osborne Building Corp. in 1990. In 1999 she joined the Corker Group when the company was purchased by now U.S. Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn. She then moved to Luken Holdings when Sen. Corker sold his real estate holdings to Henry Luken in 2005.

Luken Holdings owns and operates more than two million square feet of commercial real estate, including the Krystal Building, Tallan Building, James Building and Osborne Office Park, which is located adjacent to the Eastgate Town Center in Brainerd.
